So many times, one thing that keeps on bothering you is to whether you will transact business with a large manufacturer or a small one?
Both are good choices however, both have their own downsides as well. Some factors will help you in this area such as specs of your products; size of your order and your communication, the language will play an important role here.
Should I Choose Large Manufacturer?
For a start, if your aim is to order bulk quantities of products, the ideal choice would be the large manufacturer for they can accommodate the large quantity of your order. Smaller ones may find it hard to cope with the large volume of orders.
Another thing, if you don’t have any knowledge of the Chinese language, then I suggest that you should go for the big manufacturers. Large manufacturers have staffs that speak English to accommodate people like you whereas, smaller manufacturers very seldom employs English speaking staff.
If your aim is to get highly technical products, it is only advisable to deal with big manufacturers; smaller ones may not be capable of producing complicated products. In simple words, go for large manufacturers if you are dealing with more complicated products and on large volume of orders. They have all the technology and ability to produce your orders.
Should I Choose Small Manufacturers?
Deal with smaller manufacturers if you have small orders. Your order is very important to them; this will constitute a large percentage of their income. This means that they will give you more attention for they value your small order.
Larger companies may not give the attention you would need because for them you have only small order compared to the bulk of orders they usually deal. They have stiff terms as well. In small companies, you can work out a good deal with them and will have better communication.
Remember that they are in great need of your order therefore; you can at least negotiate with them.
Smaller companies would want to deliver quality goods so as to win your trust. It would be a great loss for them if they did not produce high quality products and you decided not to pay for these poor quality products. Larger ones wouldn’t care less if they lost your business.
